Ink on acrylic~
I very rarely like my work enough to post it on here anymore, but this is one of the exceptions. xD Never really worked with ink-on-brush before, so it was fun doing all the varying line weights. c:
Loosely based on this stock photo. Obviously you can tell that when I draw from reference I get bored and start to screw with it~ fav.me/d5s70jm

Fantastic ink work here. I don't why but the background reminds me of the times as a kid when I'd dip paper into cold coffee to get this old earthy textured effect.

When I was figuring out what I wanted to do with this picture I knew I wanted that sort of effect-although I would use unsweetened tea instead of coffee when I was younger- but I didn't want to actually dunk the paper in a drink, so I had to figure out how to use acrylic to achieve that look. It was fun messing around with it. c:
