Initially named "Christmas Spirit"...i liked "Holiday Heart better :>This is for a contest in which the theme is "what i wish for christmas". I wished something not for myself, but others. (last minute entry o__o)
What I wish for Christmas, is for everyone to recieve happiness- in order to do that, people must give "happiness" no matter what form- presents, love, etc. The true heart of the holiday...is to give, do not always expect to receive. Not everyone in the world is happy, nor can we change it for every single person- but we can give everyone a little happiness one person at a time.

Also- you will see this character design again! XD Just in a different scarf, and no mitten.
I think this is what you would call asymmetrical balance? (with the only one mitten)

heh, nice use of medium! i would say the hand should be much bigger, the hand is usually the size of the face, except since she's reaching out towards the viewer it should be bigger ^^
and i think it would look cooler if the scarf was longer, so you can't see the end of it ;D
but otherwise nice job!

I really like the colours that you have used for this piece. They just fit perfectly and they give a warm feeling even though you used cool colours. I love how you coloured the girl too. This is very well done!
