You're very welcome. I try to take the brightness where I can find it.
Yeah... it looks like I might just be hitting the really hard times and it looks like we might lose this place. Unless some work turns up, we're really hurting. I can't pay the mortgage this coming month and I don't know when I might be able to. I'm working on a project right now, but when that is done, there's no more work out there. And I'm too far away from Dallas to drive in there... even if anyone were hiring. Sigh... Keep your fingers crossed, K?
Hugs and love,
Anj

I sure hope so and am sending hope your way too, big
I really blame the damned government for all of this. If they hadn't taken away so many of the regulations that held the profit-taking on Wall Street down we wouldn't be in this position. I remember when I was in high school and our history teacher telling all of us that another Depression couldn't happen because of the regulations on Wall Street... and then what happens? The regulations are repealed and we have the Great Recession instead of depression but it's pretty darned close. And we aren't out of it yet, as you and me and a lot of other folks who are struggling know.
Oh, I have to get off that topic. I get so angry when I think of our cowardly government. I'm afraid the bureaucracy in Washington is going to bankrupt this country if things don't turn around. The country is almost broke already. But... the obscene profits for pharma, medical and oil companies continue unabated. ARGHHHH... I've said enough and worked myself up enough.
Good luck on your making profits on odd moving/hauling/recycling jobs. I will keep my fingers crossed for you as well as sending positive thoughts and energy your way. I hope you can pay your rent and eat too. Sometimes I worry about us, but one thing about living where we are... and with the goats and horses we have... it would be a long time before we starve... but we might have to start collecting catalogs again... for toilet paper! Oh, I'm glad I continued. At least I found SOMETHING to smile about!
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply... but I've been working almost non-stop for three or four weeks. I had a project that was really a seven week project and I had to get it done in four weeks. That was rough. Then I got another project for a week while that one was in the hands of the engineer that had to be done in a week... again, almost impossible, but I did it. So... once I get paid for these two project I won't have to worry about the mortgage for two months, but it was a killer while I was doing it. I stopped by DA a bit... got one feature done before I started on the second project, but then was gone again for a couple of weeks. I just submitted both projects today. I also have another project that I am supposed to start on right away... but I'll do that tomorrow. I took time off today!
Anyway.. I've sure been rattling and I apologize for that. Please let me know how you're doing.
Hugs and love,
Anj

We thought about rabbits... just never got into it. Maybe I ought to make the push for it again. David used to raise them before we met.
Good to hear from you! You know, don't you, that we are connected for life?
Hugs and love,
Anj

The composition here is excellent. The way the rainbow twines around the cross, and the four distinct points of blue. This would make a great print!

Very nice. Love the pastel colours. The curl works very well with the rectangles.
