Thank you so much to the gorgeous and talented!
Based on her beautiful photograph "Escape".
Congratulations to her on her 3rd DD!!!!
I employed a "geometric" concept to her hair, rather than the beautiful chaotic-ness she used in the photograph. I also extended the fingernails giving the hands a more claw-like appearance and added the fluer-de-lis at the botton for an ornate finish to the hairline. Gave some depth and dimension to the portrait by creating the appearance that she was emerging from water or liquid of some sort(maybe the primordial soup of life???)

Thank you! I drew this from a photograph of a fellow deviant(with permission of course!!!) Everthing is drawn verbatim accept the hair. The subject had this "rat's nest" of knots and braids, and it just seemed a nightmare to try and sketch, so I came up with these geometrical patterns. Came out pretty good in the end though ... really glad you like it.!

Wow - I am a little stunned ... thank you for such wonderful thoughts and thank you for the watch. I'm really still learning how to draw - it's only been a couple of years, but your words are extremely inspiring to me ...
BTW - you are quite beautiful ... most of the creations you see of mine are of other female deviants. Sometimes i put unexpected twists into the work that usually turn out to be quite fun. I'd love to draw a portrait of you if you'd ever consider the possibility.
In the meanwhile - left a little something for you in the donation jar ...
All the best!
Kurt

Such a spectacular piece... The details in muscle tone, the braids and movement in the hair, The facial anatomy and light contrast are so divine... I'm speechless, to say the least.

Thank you so much for having faith in me, my dear. I am so grateful for you giving me the opportunity to express your brilliance in a slightly different way. Your work was such an inspiration to me that just drawing this was a wonderfully emotional experience - but as you said - it does reach beyond words and takes us to a places we rarely get to experience - I guess that is a big part of why we do what we do. And about hanging it in your room?? There is no greater compliment you can give someone ... let me see what I can do ...
