Kenpachi before he got the eyepatch that eats reiatsu. Seriously, he could have killed Hanataro and Ganju on accident if he hadn't been wearing it. Thus, the comic.Yamamoto's line originally was just a placeholder for when I could think of a better line to put there. Everyone told me that it was funny, though, so it stayed.
I'm aware that if one dies in Soul Society, one would not have a soul to escape. It's just a joke, so please do not be hard on me.
I've been trying to make the writing look more like real comic books lately. At least it's legible.
Kenpachi and everyone seen here belong to Tite Kubo, except for all the dead guys, since they're no one in particular.

Btw, In SS your mind and soul are separated from your body, but still toghether! Dieing in SS separates your mind from your soul and the mind stays in SS (Ishida's grandfather e.g.) and the soul forms new souls on earth!...that's my theory at least...

I think when you die in the soul society, your spiritual particles goes to some kinda "pool" of spiritual energy which creates new souls for the living world... So, yeah, reincarnation is the answer (but it's hella complicated).
