not really even a species, kirin are a common mythology critter like dragon or phoenix. I just wanted to try my own take on them xD

kirins are actually deer/dragon -like magical beings from asian mythology! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin
so no, they're not a "species" as by deviantART measurements, they're an already existing thing like a gryphon.
