You mean I've actually drawn fanart of something that's not of Japanese of Leroux origins? The horror! Hell must have frozen over!

...then again, we've also had snow in Manteca the last few days (the first time in almost twenty years). I guess anything's possible.

Actually, my Scarecrow fandom really isn't anything recent, regardless that I loved Cillian Murphy's role in Batman Begins. Back when the original animated series was aired, he was always my favorite villian, although he didn't get nearly the airtime he deserved. But, seeing how I haven't watched the Batman series in a long, long while, it was Batman Begins that refueled my interest in the character, but I wanted to give him a different sort of flare if I were to draw him. Then, while looking at screenshots for the movie, I realized that Johnathan Crane was still wearing the straight jacket from when he was in the asylm during his rampage through the Narrows, and all the pieces fell into place. Because we all know that there's nothing better than Mr. Murphy when he's stark raving mad and in a straight jacket.

Edit: Sorry for the re-upload, but the original title was bugging the crap outta me. Not that this one is any better (insert dreaded flashbacks of Batman and Robin), but it's firs slightly better.
