gorgeous photo!
was it hard to shoot? I mean, did that person mind that you were taking pictures or not?

not really - people usually aren't that shy; you just have to be friendly, and confident.

Yeah - it was quite an interesting trip - I survived the tsunami - which may I add, was WAY over publicised in india, for what it was. I was living right near the beach, and allot of families living on the beach did get devistated, but not any damage anywhere else. Apart from that My dad got sick; he got appendicitis, and then a urinary tract infection...
but all up I had an amazing time. Its such an eye opener.
Its got great textures, because I took my medium format "film" camera over there...
thanks

Yeah - Iv traveled a couple of places, but this is the first serious time that I've taken my camera with me! I have a heap more shots, which I will post - eventually...
Thanks

Actually - with the language barrier - its really easy! When I was there - I just wwent out, and pointed to the camera, and said "can I take a photo", and pointed at them - to which they would either walk away shaking their head, or smile, and pose... although somtimes that wasn't what I wanbted to take...
I do have to admit that the first couple of times I went out there - I had to have some one come with me, because it just didn't feel right... but some times - after I'd been out a couple of times, I didn't have enough film to take all the pictures that I wanted... and the kids were coming up to me asking for more!
Its really fun! - I haven't tried locally though - so this might be a bit of a problem...
good luck
