haha your right, her outfit is impractical, and a tad drafty by the looks, but I really like. Haven't drawn it yet myself.

You did a great job with this, very clean and the slightly desaturated colors really help things to blend. I always wanted to be able to make really intricate borders like that myself, but you made a great find with the reference book 
Sadly I still haven't played FFXII :: sobs:: my brother had it then lost it . . . punk.

And when I have money to burn, I'm jumping all over that book. One my favorite designs I've seen was in my art history text book, the Chi-rho-itoa page in the Book of Kells (feels so accomplished to have knowledge now) Those medieval folks had some pretty sweet stuff

Sadly, after FF8 the outfits in the Final Fantasy's just became outrageous to the point of laughter. Ashe isn't the worst-- (I give that award personally to Tidus, I mean, what man would be caught dead in multi-length shorts!?) but she definately poses some unique cosplay problems.
I love how the art nouveau block colouring really flattens the image, makes it shine in new ways. The unusual clothing definately suits this art style, I think, you did her much justice.

aaah, Tidus. Quite possibly the most ridiculous (and my most favorite) of FF characters. ^__^ I'll forgive him anything.
and as willing as I am to suspend my disbelief for the games, some outfits just make you wonder. I think after a certain point i just stopped fighting it. ^_^ Thanks for you comment though, glad I was able to do Ashe justice.
