Its the lighting and the fact that Roxas' hair is light brown.

How long does it take you to make these? They are really cute!

I do them in multiple groups (like two or more Saixs at a time)
Anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days, depending on how much time I have after work and how well the clay behaves. Sometimes its too warm and soft and I have to wait a couple hours in between steps or if its hard, it can crumble and take awhile to warm enough to come together again.
Also dpeends on the color. If its one I have to mix, it will take a bit longer. And some colors stain my fingers and if I touch a lighter or darker color it'll transfer and become a mess so for colors like red I have to scrub my fingers off of the color between steps.
Its hard sometimes but I love doing it.

Wow. So a lot of work goes into these little guys...Let me say right now that you make it look flawless and easy! My little Saix looks like he was professionally made. If I come across your work myself, I would like to shake your hand and then promptly buy a xemnas to go with him, lol.

I use Sculpey III. I glaze them after baking, making them look nicer and helps prevent them from breaking
