I'm looking through a few more of your cosplay pictures and I keep on being struck by the detail in your costumes. It's really amazing and wonderful to see.

Trinity Blood is a mekka for detail lovers. There are so many versions of every different outfit, that you really have to concentrat on one. Otherwise you'll get crazy.

Phew difficult. You should know, that the novel was first. It was a hit in japan and anime and manga came after it. To understand the story in it's completeness it's almost neccesary to read, watch them all XD
There are some small sidestorys in the manga, which are not told in the books. If you fall in love with the charakters (as I did) you'll try to find you everything about them.
But I personally started with the Anime, to get a good view of the story. It's based on the books. (Maybe it's a good start for you too, to see if you like it.) Then I read the manga (which often goes there own way but catches the main points and turns of the story, too) and then the books. But as I said before, you'll finally get the ideas behind it, after you read the books. Also be aware that the stroy is NOT finished because the writer died and didn't finish it. And nobody had an idea how he meant to end it.

Ahh I see! I did see that about the author's death, what a real darned shame. 
So although the graphic novels are first, one can start with the anime? Then I think I'll try that first, because it will probably be easiest to get my hands on (one way or another). And then, if I like it I can always give the rest a try.
