rocket launch sequence2did this for a contest. all modelling/texturing/lighting/rendering done in 3ds max 5.1. photoshop used for color correction only (as per contest rules guideline)

Yeah, this angle looks good too, but the problem with the tower is even more empahsized. Maybe it has more to do with the background than in does the tower itself.
I assume this is part of an animated sequence. I'd be interested in seeing the whole thing. Do you have it posted anywhere? Or is there a way I could download it from you?

it was for a still pic contest but i do want to animate it. plus i would put in motion blur & depth of field as well (prohibited on the contest). prolly with a camera shake also...will post a link if & when it is done!
btw, i think i'll start modelling a teacup beside the pot...steamy hot earlgrey u say??
