Description
Concept design I did back in 2002/2003 of a ninja girl. The theme I went for on this piece was 'Fire', hence the inclusion of the fiery gauntlet and jacket.Hand drawn, cleaned up and coloured using photoshop 7.

Yeah, being born as part of a fire ninja clan, she has pyro-kinetic abilities within her, therefore fire doesn't hurt her. The gauntlet enhances these abilities and also acts as her shield and she can transmit her energy into the sword turning it red and hot which allows it to cut through object much sharper. To an extent she can also do this with other metallic objects but it works better with the sword.

Thank you! Yeah, since the theme I was going for with this piece was "Fire", I just had this crazy idea to have the gauntlet look like flames. I guess it turned out well!
