Would highly suggest looking up a bunch of tutorials since I am bad at explaining. Mortmort is a great person to see! youtu.be/UN-m3o9V7kk ... But as a tip, the thing that helped me the most is having an additional window open that shows me what the pixel looks like at 100% at all times.

Its just because when shading, or doing details in general, I used to focus on everything up close and realise from afar it looked bad. Like a lot of things didn't translate over nicely or shading wasn't as visible as I thought.
