the whole sketch is done with a 0.5 technical pencil, always remains very sharp. first i draw a rough gesture drawing extremely lightly on paper, barely visible, just so i can see all the proportions all at once, and then i just draw the final clean lines over that. makes sense?

thanks!!! keep trying and you will get it, practice makes perfect. try tracing it first as you're understanding the form, and then re draw it a few times on your own without looking at the original. eventually you will get it and drawing on your own will become easy!
