This art project was supposed to commemorate an event, so I decided to do the theatrical release of Akira. I was gonna color it, but decided against, crits and comments are welcome.Related content

I love this movie. I just got done watching it for a second time. I watched it the first time in englsih, then watched it in japanese with subtitles. it looks SO FREAKIN AWESOME in blue ray. Awesomely drawn!

I just watched this today on youtube! Awesome movie, wish I could buy the manga. Alas mom won't let me buy any mangas right now.
Those kids in the background, in the movie it's kinda creepy how they're like what, four-six year olds with grey hair and wrinkles?
Oh, and Tetsuo looks awesome with his spikey hair and cape! Thanks for drawing this, you did awesome!

TETSUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Hahaaa...I must say, I had to look at that twice. Glad it's not just me that noticed the insane little yelling of each other's names-thinger. Probably one of the best parts of the movie. Actually, the movie in its entirety was the best part. Excellent movie, excellent work done here.
