First monthly painting down!

I wanted to make this first one feel video game-y, like you could be playing this scene out in an RPG. Didn't think it would come out like this!
Been studying some realist paintings and reading James Gurney's Color and Light for pointers. I think those really helped me out, even with how high contrast this piece is. Looking at the finished product now, I think I could have gone with darker shadows in some places, but I don't know exactly where. Still have lots to learn!
