Because pairs figure skating is the ultimate NejiTen sport, and you know it.
Olympics start Friday!The AU in my head...that I really want to write but can't T_T....is of TenTen having trained her whole life to go to the Olympics in figure skating, but her parents died and she lost her enthusiasm for the sport.
She goes to live with her godfather, an old hockey playing buddy of her father's, Might Guy.
Because she promised her dad she would get gold, she trains under the coach at the local rink, a woman of world reknown, and meets her son, Neji.
Neji wants to skate more than anything, but his mother firmly believes men shouldn't be allowed in the sport. It takes a lot of struggle to get these two together, and into the form they need to be to compete.
...It's much cooler than it sounds.
I love 's short haired Neji and wanted to try one of my own. He's so adorable with his short hair, I just love him!

This is awesome! You did a great job on their poses and synchronising them while still making them their own. Tenten looks so sure of herself and happy and Neji looks so shy and adorable. Short haired Neji is love!! Only critque is Tenten's stomach looks a bit bulgy. I think even in this position it'd be a bit slimmer, but that's just me.

It was a lot of fun looking up refrences for ice skaters. They do some crazy things that I could never hope to draw
The story is a lot of fun. The scene where Neji finally confronts her on her lack of enthusiasm is heartbreaking. And, yes, not evil parents ftw

Yeah, not only did he parents just die, but she was moved from Japan to America, thousands of miles from her friends to a place who's language she's never used on a regular basis. It's extremely difficult for her.

O_O Wow...I didn't know that. I can't even imagine how difficult that must have been for her. She lost everything. Her parents. Her friends. Her home. Not only emotional, but that must have been terrifying and it all happened at once.

It was. Everything was so hard for her, so she seems very aloof and distant at first. Neji's really sweet to her, though.
