This is just because a couple of people have said some things to me on subeta, not rudely, but just... seems rather patronizing in a way- that 'how my art is great, but...' and then add in not what they're looking for, or not 'cute' enough or something.So I don't have a lot of 'cute' art, but that doesn't mean I don't know *how* to draw it! It's simple art and easy, and I like a challenge. If I see something interesting, I'll want to see if I can draw it, doesn't mean I'll always do a full 'real' look to it, I know how to do cartoons and 'chibi' and 'cute' stuff. Just because I don't do it, doesn't mean I'm inept, and that's the feeling I had received from some people. Not many, actually, 3.. but enough to make me stop asking to do art for people.
It's not worth being treated like an idiot to keep offering doing art for other people- especially for pretend money and fake stuff.
So, cute you!
I will still do art for people... in some ways or another.

But if peeps can't handle the sheer amazing of your art because it's...more complex then...they fail.
I don't like drawing cute much...because I feel like it's too simple therefore it's hard xD

My opinion is if you look at an artist, and they do a lot of very complex and more real stuff, then they can more than likely do the simple stuff, because they're talented. It's demeaning to think that they can't do something so simple as a sketch or a little doodle.
I don't really like doing cute that much either in all honesty, not like 'cutsey' and little- because it is too simple, but sometimes it can just be for fun. So when someone gets all high and mighty and tells me I'm not good enough to do simple art, I shove it in their face. hehe.

lol. Oh, no, cute simple stuff will not rule my art. lol. I only did this really to show I can do it at all. Though, anyone with talent should be able to do all kinds of art- simple 'tiny and cute' to the more complex. And I try to stretch myself. Tiny and cute is no stretch at all.

bah what do they know?? artists who only draw cute usually can't draw anything for lack of talent
however i do find it interesting when i see an artist who does typically draw in a "cute" style and then suddenly shows off some crazy realistic painting

Yeah, I know what you mean. lol. Usually those that can do more 'real' art can do the very simple because it's just that, simple. lol. Doesn't take much to make a round charrie with stubby legs and then say 'it's chibi cute!' it's like, for lack of knowledge of anatomy you mean. xDD;

Maybe you should draw some really silly "cute" art and see what they think about it. On the other hand, that could terribly backfire and everyone will love it an only know you for those. Dang...
Or you could just draw a variety of little kittens with different emotions for kicks and giggles.
