Austyn is a hybrid human made to withstand plague. He lived in a coma for many years before waking up, but it was too late most of humanity was dead. Erol is a lab creature, who used to be a boy, but was stitched up for experiments. He was friends with Austyn before the fall of humanity. And then Eve, I need to work out details but instead of blood she's got radioactive blood...and lives in the post-human world. She's like what humans would become if they'd survived. In a world where there's really no grass, just rocks, rubble, plastic, and twisted metal. Hand grenades are flowers in a sense. Real flower don't exist. Think something from the movie '9'.
