Yeah, I make lots of jewelry. :] I figure deviantART is a good place to promote the things I make, and it's actually helped boost sales a lot. There are a lot of jewelry groups that I submit to.

Thanks! Yeah, I discovered early this year that I could make jewelry and that it was pretty simple, so I've been really excited. I go to this convention thinger once every year to sell my stuff. I used to just make ugly things out of sculpy. Few people bought them, and no one bought my novels, only my comic books. And things were so hard when it came to that, because people would sneer at my art or call it stupid when I could hear them.
So when I found out how easily I could make decent jewelry, I started making a ton of it so that this year I can hopefully do better and actually make back my money. I have a feeling it'll go great, since I actually earned all the money to purchase my booth from all the sales I've made. :'] Me so proud!

Goodness people can just be so rude! I'm sure your artwork was fine and I think it's cool that you could do comic books! I can't really draw very well but I'm still trying to improve. I'm sorry they made fun of you though because that just sucks! I think you should've beat them over the head with your comic book

Yay~! Jewelry making is actually pretty simple, and if you're looking to get started, I'd suggest snooping around your nearest Hobby Lobby. That's where I get about 90% of my supplies. The prices aren't bad at all.
And of course, if you need any help, I can give you some pointers. Rather do it in a note, though, since I don't typically share my secrets with people. <3

Oh I wish we had a Hobby Lobby! I may see if there is one a few towns over (I live in a pretty small town). If not I'll just see where I can find some for cheap prices.
