Its good to always try new things and strive to get better, and to consider critque whenever its given to you. With that said, there's also nothing wrong with going a little light on something if you want to. We do this for fun, after all. As long as you don't stagnate like a certain blue bear...lol.
I think its a cool fanart piece and glad you decided to do something more unique. Brings back good memories from both my childhood and just a couple years ago.

Interesting first choice for Fanart February!
I really think you could have done much more justice to Storm Eagle since he has an awesome design.
More contrast in shading along with hard cel shading would have made the colors look better.

Yeah...he's kind of been in the works for like the past 5-6 days and I never felt like working on it at all really, so i figured I would just keep it simple so I can move on to something I was more excited about coloring. Nothing ever turns out as good when you aren't feeling it, I just didnt want to just leave it with base coloring.
