Description The SSV Exile (SR-3) is a Frigate class starship in the human Systems Alliance military. The Exile is very versatile; boasting a wide assortment of weaponry and built in features.

The Exile, is the third in the Alliance line of Normandy class prototype spacecraft. It is one of three ships equipped with the only "cloaking" type system in the Alliance fleet. This system works by capturing the radiation and heat signatures put out by the ship's engines and stores them in special areas in the hull. It can do this for around 2-3 hours before having to vent and give away its position. The only ways the system does not hide the Exile are when it jumps into or out of FTL travel or if a person in another ship happens to look out a window and see it. The latter of these two is rare since most ships rely on scanners rather than visual contact to see their surroundings and spotting another ship in space is very difficult.

The Exile also has a notably large "drive core" powering it, an experimental piece of equipment called the Tantalus Drive Core. The core is proportionally twice the size of a normal drive equipped on similar sized vessel. This oversized drive core affects the Exile's balance, but it's nothing a skilled pilot can't handle.

I've always been a big Sci-fi fan. I wish I had my own personal starship, this is what I'd call it too.

too bad it's only a frigate, but I guess it would be too hard to hide anything bigger.

Yeah, I'd love to be in control of a battleship, but I guess they'd be too slow for convenient cruising of the universe.

what would be fun is if on the next game they let you participate in a space battle

I agree. Actually there are three things I hope they fix for the next game. Being able to participate in space battles, of course, fixing the graphic flaws, and customization for the Normandy and Mako.

that would be fun. I want them to make the chaingun on the mako more useful. I use it mostly to shoot monkeys and land jellyfish things. other than that I just used the maingun.

I'll take three.

I still can't seem to finalize much of anything for the design of my own ship... It's bugging me...

Definitely looks great, the streamlined look works well, it's a beautiful ship, it certainly gives me the impression of being a strike ship; rather like a bird of prey. A quick strike and then it's gone.
Well done on the perspective too.
