So, I went to find tutorials on how to color, to try to get better coloring than whatever the crap I do. Finally found a good one that actually did things in steps and didn't skip like 10 steps between "And then you do ____" "And now...", so I figured "ok, I can do this". First couple attempts, it looked like crap. So on a blank page I color picked the exact colors from the tutorial and somehow mine ended up with two completely different shades... Like, the shading in the tutorial was a grey, (tutorial made no mention of blending or new layers, just said to pick a darker color and add shading), but when I color picked it, it came out super crap brown, even when using the same backround and skin tone in the tutorial -.- I even set my pen tool to their pen tool settings, yet mine still looks super pixely... I mean, wtf?

So I just erased that junk and went back to my usual craptastic coloring :/ Pretty sure either my Sai is broken or I'm just incapable of learning how to color. Might just go back to no color and only shading, definitely would save like 3-4 hours of flats and another 3 on shading...
3 years of digital coloring and you'd really expect it to improve, but it just looks pretty much exactly the same :/
