Finally I'm done with this ^^ I started this on a Saturday but I had to left it without some details. Basically making the details was what toke me more time ehehheI'm really happy with this painting.
[Face Detail] The tittle is a courtesy from my boyfriend ^^ He is the best *.*

This is lovely! How did you do it? My tablet is coming like in a week or so and I`m interested in digital art but it looks hard however I want to try it. Is it hard?

i have a simple tablet (no pressure) since.. O.o a lot of time. well... sometimes i even prefer to use the mouse.
anyway, i had to make lots of failed tries until i got the idea how to paint digital art, but once you get the method is kinda easy. the rest is imagination ^^'
what i usually do is to block the flat areas and then start shading using background colours. for shinny areas and stuff i usually make points O.o over and over again until it looks fine.
and to start.. hmmm i hate to make trees XD it's terrible! waves are fine i guess. human body is the better i think. try something you're used to paint traditionally. it's almost the same thing

Wow, this piece is absolutely stunning. The girl is beautiful, very gothic looking and the background looks amazing as well. I love the waves. Did you use a tutorial or did you just make them yourself cause I'd love to know how.

i tried to find a tutorial about it O.o but none of the waves i saw looked like the ones i wanted to do so i just googled for some waves photos to set in the mood. i spent a lot of time doing the first because it never looked right ^^' even with a high resolution picture i had to make tiny dots with a brush size like 3 O.o
oh, and thank you so much!
but you know what? after finishing the first one, i made the next ones pretty fast. it's not very difficult

lol ^^ I don't really know why I always do that size, I like being able to zoom right in and get as many details as I can and it also leaves me loads of space to figure out what I actually want to do I suppose. It is a bit annoying when photoshop stalls sometimes though.
