Now that I finaly got decently presentable photo of this...

This is my first wire tree that I've made. I made it to my mother for mothersday this spring..

I've seen some magnifigent wire trees here on dA and when I first lay my eyes on them I thought that it is something I want to try. This tree isn't that big or bushy but I think it resembles more of some trees growing in Finland (maybe birch or pine..?). Making it was fun, I'll have to try it again sometime..

And to make it more personal for my mother I added little Obi-like doggy and squirrel on it.

Obi takes his duty of keeping all kind of small animals off my parents backyard very seriously. He never catches anything..but enjoys chasing squirrels to the trees and keeping them there..

Copper wire, polymer clay and a piece of tombstone. (I didn't vandalise anyones grave, this piece was lying around in school.. ) ~15 cm high.
