Now that I think about it Pinkie would approve of that. Too bad she was too grumpy to appreciate the moment while Discord was in control. She could've probably made a deal with him to be her party partner and end the whole disaster. But then the writer's must have thought, "No, that would ruin the plot. We need to make this as difficult as possible".
