I am very proud of this picture for no particular reason. I guess I'm just extremely happy with how it turned out. I worked for a long time, actually, and was scared to finally darken it or shade it for fear of ruining it.
Anyway, the aim of this picture was what I titled it. Unlike the last picture similar to this, 006 . Walking Dragon, I tried to add a little motion, form, and grace to this image.
I chose the "Black and White Photo" scanner setting on this one, so the tiny smudges in the white background were magnified. The other setting, however, ruined the shading, so I think it's better to have it this way.

Heh, thanks. ^^ I'll try to fix that next time. It seems that I used to have this habit of HUGE heads, and now I draw 'em too small... honestly, I try to make them about the size of the claws - but maybe I should make it bigger, huh? Meh o_o

One crit, the head is a tad bit small. =/ Other than that, it's fantastic!

Thanks ^^ I wasn't sure initially if I wanted to add the plating, but I'm glad I did.
Yeah, I'll try to fix that. You never saw any of my fifth grade art, but even some of my earlier dragons are beanpoles and the heads are huge (*pokes 002 . Delicate Fantasy*).
