I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. Though middle school-college has really hurt my time in drawing. XD XD
Now work is getting more intense since I only have a month left (intern) so I'm usually too tired to draw on the weekdays. But I still try!!! >:3

Probably I will when I get out of college and work in a company for 2-3 years. XD

Hey, you can't rush things, after all! It's best to know what you want to do with your business before you begin.
Though. As a side note, you'd be surprised how easy it is to get something started using EBay or Amazon.

Oh wow thank you for this suggestion and answer. That's really interesting that you think of digital leaning towards stylization may be more impressive than realistic rendering. Heheh maybe ctrl z is what makes the realistic rendering less impressive on digital art.

((Not a problem at all
Well I've done a bit of rendering in the past, and as amazing as it looks, a lot of that work is (sometimes)Β done by the computer, whereas artists and sculptors had nothing but raw talent at their disposal. I mean no downplay towards rendering or realistic imagery in the digital medium. It is really cool but I just feel sketches capture more of our human elements ^^
My view towards art is anyone can learn technique. Practice. Studying. Looking up refs, bases, tracings or anything like that.
What defines an artist is their talent and their emotion. It's why I praise various spectrums of art styles and technique levels ^^ I'm not looking at the aesthetic aspect of the art, I'm looking at what I can see of the artist in their work. Their emotion. Their ideas. Themselves.
Sure, fancy images are cool, but that can be taught. Art happens when the artist showcases their soul.
Gah I know I sound quite pretentious and somewhat snooty but that's how I've always felt when I studied art in school XD
My cartoonist style was at first rejected, and even now, many universities where I live don't accept it as a viable medium, but my teachers allowed me to continue with it and graded it as they did the other pieces, because they understood it to be art ^^))

Simply amazing detail. All those tiny little feathers! Are those pencils always kept that perfectly sharp for that? LOL

Haha! there IS something that's like... REALLY satisfying about a freshly sharpened pencil.
I dunno, that detail is pretty minute ;D
