American beauty, though exaggerated, hits within the ballpark of realistic beauty. At least Madonna and sabrina were real. They had a lot of fake on them but they existed and that goes to show you that the 'beauty' that they aimed for was reachable (however expensive). Dc comics is unrealistic but not impossible for a black, hispanic, or a certain white person to hit. It just takes work and breast implants. Lots and lots of work. But if someone reeeeaaallly wanted a DC body, they could get it. That's not the case with anime. No matter what an asian person does, no amount of exercise or surgery will get them anime bodies. In Asian society, their world revolves around anime and little cartoons depicting these little characters that look nothing like them. Look at any Asian advertisement and there is always a ^_^ character. Anime is the last thing asians look like yet they put so much stock in it, which was my point. Self hating. Self defeating. They're trying to be the one thing they never can be.
And, yes, you have no ass.

Like I said, self-hate in a hand bag. For every anime that actually does depict asian physique, there's a hundred anime's that are waaaay off the mark. That's not simply still. That's envy.

ammm... I don't think it's "self hating" it is just they're creating unreal beauty, it the same with american idols you know, madonna, sabrina... real woman who need unreal "stuff" to look good. And, did you know that dc comics (batman, superman) and marvel (x-men) use 10 heads tall characters? Not only asians give their characters exagerated boobs or big eyes.
