I painted my nails so they would glow in the dark and then I thought "hey that would be pretty cool on a character" so I made a thing.So yes this is my dragon wolf monster thing that is really generic but I like it a lot the end.

I have to say I recently watched an episode of detective conan (actually, it was one of the horrible movies) where a character was murdered and the reason they could be murdered in the dark is that they had glow in the dark nail polish on.

OH HEY you are too I see your updates on tumblr!! I was so sad when I heard about your harddrive failing and how you thought you lost it, I would have been heartbroken.
BUT ALAS, the curse of using general running/floaty poses. Dont worry yours is like 10000x superior. Are you close to having it finished? I'm really looking forward to oogling over all the pretty details.

I was totally almost devastated but I tried so hard to force myself into optimism because I knew that if I didn't, I would never finish the picture.
I am actually almost done! I've completed the actual Shin coloring/shading and I'm working on the background as we speak. I'm just gonna do a generic smoky and unrefined BG but the way I laid the PSD out, it'll be way easy to go in and add a BG if I want to in the future

Aw yeah! I think I've only been able to motivate myself to completely redo a picture once, and the only reason I did it then was because it was a commission for someone hahahaha. Its so good that the freezer trick worked for you though!

I always paint on wrong layers so my PSD files end up so messy its horrible hahaha cries. Smoky backgrounds are great though, I find it hilarious because I was originally going to do something smoky for the background on this. JUST IMAGINE.
Luckily I am super lazy and decided glowy fleck things worked just as good for me..
