Description The coat of arms of the German Community in Pennsylvania.

The first quarter shows a German eagle, symbolizing their German heritage.
The second quarter displays the Swiss cross since most of them appear to be Swiss.
The third quarter shows the Rhine coat of arms where most of the Germans came from.
The fourth quarter shows the Amish star since a small majority of Germans in Pennsylvania are Amish.

In the middle is William Penn's coat of arms with three black six-pointed stars in a chevron arrangement (derived from the Pennsylvania Dutch "we still speak our mother language" seal).

Made in Inkscape.
