Youkai eat humans, so it be common sense. Believe it or not, Touhou is set up to be horror, but it doesn't seem like it with all the loli's and lack of violence in the games and DΕjinshi. There are some guro DΕjinshi but then again in game wise. There is a lot of references to Youkai eating people and then again someone blends humans up in a blender and adds them to the tea Remilia drinks.
