YAY! I was naughty and stayed up past my bed time to finish this before tomorrow. :3

This is my entry for 's contest, specifically, the "why I like Kingdom Hearts" half.

Alright, so there are a million reasons why I love Kingdom Hearts, probably the most prominent of which being that I love the style and I love Disney. But, my most personal reason for loving the game was initially because Sora, Riku, Kairi and their friends live at a beach, and for probably the majority of my young life, so did I. Well, during the summers, anyway. My mom and brothers and I lived with my Grandparents in Staten Island, NY, and during the summers we moved into the "beach house", where we had pretty much a world all to ourselves, and my front yard was nothing but SAND AND SEA! My gosh, it was so great. We'd swim all day, and then at night, with the window open, I could still hear the surf and I could still feel the waves after all those hours of drifting. X3 I got sunburned more times than I can count, and I think I ate more ice pops than a child really should. And I caught like a million toads.

...Anyway, before I get all carried away reminiscing, that was what drew me to Kingdom Hearts before I met Donald and Goofy, because while I didn't really know who "these spikey people" were, I melted at how cute they were, running around on their own little beach paradise, bringing back memories I forgot I had. XD (omg I'm getting emotional, ACK!)

SO! There you have it.

AND YES. I have a very boring color palette in my art. I promise to do more experimenting in the future. Cross my heart. XD
