I absolutely love Chocobos, I always have, even before I'd ever even touched a Final Fantasy game XDThis one's name is Bobby Corwen, and he is from Final Fantasy IX. I wanted to try to draw what his expression might be as he "Gwark!"ed to Mikoto, who was, at the time, unsure of what to think of this creature. He's a cutie, isn't he?
If I color this, I will replace this Deviation and move this to scraps.

Suddenly I am reminded of the hours of chocobo breeding in FF7 to get a gold chocobo... and I did it the hard way, without chocobo inbreeding. (the thought of it grossed me out.)

Awww, that's cute, to not inbreed them, I mean XD I've never bred Chocobo, because I've never played 7, but I totally wouldn't inbreed them either. Blech!

Try it some time. The purpose of chocobo breeding is to A. enter the chocobo races with the fastest chocobo possilbe, anb B. the golden chocobo can go places where even the airship can't. (last few materia and other hard to get items).
and I did not know that about the white bengals... Makes me glad that the char I am working on is siberian.

XD Chocobos are basically what people ride in Final Fantasy instead of horses. They are adorable, and I wish they were real XD

They do seem like wonderful games, but I don't like the idea of letting an opponent hit me, I prefer to be able to jump around and avoid attacks like in Zelda

LOL, no biggie, that was kind of why I hadn't played a Final Fantasy XD But I kinda made like...a game swap ("you play this, and I'll play that") with someone for Final Fantasy 4, and I fell in love with it. It had a wonderful story, and was comical, which is something I always seem to like XD
If you're into deep plots and some SERIOUS thinking material (those writers have some interesting theories on the world, let me tell you XD ), with a dash of humor and a great amount of character, try either Final Fantasy 4 or 9. The rest I can't say too much about (I think they might not be as good - they just happen to be popular, I'm sure you understand. XD ) Every time I play another Final Fantasy, I don't expect it to be "as good as the one I just played, it was probably a fluke". But I always get so drawn into the story, and trust me, I'm not the kind of person who really likes too much of a story in a game. I like to move around more, too XD But it's worth it for Final Fantasy. More than playing a game, it's like...watching a good movie XD So...there's a lot of sitting to be done....lot of reading. But it is worth it. I promise it! Well, for 4 or 9, I mean. Any of the others are beyond me XD
Zelda still rules all, though. XD

I think it's great that you can be so open-minded! So few people are these days! 
If it turns out that you like it, I'm going to be very happy to know I made a good choice. But if it turns out that you hate it, I'm going to be very disappointed in myself XD
I hope you enjoy it!!!! It may seem a bit tedious and constricting at first (I was so annoyed, at least I'll be honest) but, if you let it sink in, and you accept it for what it is, it gets better and better, and I promise you, even if it's not one of your favorite games of all time, it should at least bring a smile to your face once or twice :3 You'll see right away what I mean when I say that there is so much heart and character put into every sentance of the dialog. I really hope you like it, because if not, I'm going to feel so stupid XD

I'm Serious I have even left a message asking my friend if heβs got the game and if I can borrow it, its just a matter of being able to get it off of him as he goes to Uni, it wasn't hard to convince me, its only when Iβm really dead set against doing something that the more Iβm nagged the more i don't want to do something.

I think I will defiantly like it I was the same about Kingdom Hearts till I got it and Whoa! what and awesome game there were so many of beautiful things about that game I instantly enjoyed it XD So I will defiantly tell you what I think if I can get my hands on it, till then ill catch you later

OH! And Bobby Corwen is the chocobo the Black Mages are looking after in the Black Mage Village. He is but an egg for most of the game XD

Yeah, think so, been awhile. Then you find some uncharted Chocobo island of wonder. And some floating island, with a hidden terrifying optional boss fight with a ever-spinning orb of doom.
