I love how they play with a sense of scale in Star Wars. The Ship is enourmous but nothing compared to the future imperial ships and the shipyard that hold's it must be massive.

I can easily imagine what this would look like in a movie - eerily dark lighting, light beams from the ship and surrounding dock area passing through steam, and a lot of busy people preparing for it to go looks really good

I used Maya 2008. All polygon modeling at this point (except for one or two little details on the bridge). Basically a bunch of extruded poly cuts and beveling work. Don't really know what else to tell you beyond a more specific question.
