Finally! ^^ I have attempted this new shading style!This technique has been on my mind for quite some time and I have just been sooo eager to try it out. And who better to try it out with than with my good friend Niric? Lol
I must say, I am really proud of how this turned out. I really didn't really know what to expect when I completed this piece, but wow.
Should I do more pieces with this kind of shading technique?

Looks nice! Rather subtle, if a little hard to say although that may be the lighting. ^^ If I may ask how did you go about shading this particular piece?

Thanks mate. ^^ Yeah, it was the lighting. It just didn't want to agree with me when I took the picture. Lol
Basically, I substituted colored pencils in place of regular pencil lead to act as the shading. And for the lightened areas I left them white.

Looks pretty good! Not sure if it's supposed to be this way, but the colour's really pale. But other then that it's awesome!
