Description Another HTTYD fanart. This corresponds to the final battle between the giant dragon and Hiccup with Toothless. Here the Green Death (or Red Death... Does anyone knows what is its name?) Is comming from the fog that he created with it's big flame. Now, the end is near, and the main characters should face their destiny.

I hope you like it. Some autocritic: Hiccup looks weird, i'm not very proud of how i drew him, and the scene in general looks empty and static .

This was drawn by hand and coloured using gimp.

Sweeeet. I love how you did the teeth, all packed together and twisting in different directions! And the wrinkles around the red deaths face look great! Since he doesn't show that kind of detail on the rest of the body, perhaps you might thicken the fog around him? But otherwise the face looks great! And toothless looks so graceful! Nice work!

Thank you , i had fun drawing its teeth. This is the first time i try to draw fog, so it wasn't perfect, maybe some more fog would let it look better. I only wanted to show it's body as a shadow and give some contrast with the light of the fire behind. As you can see, i still need more practice, but thank you very much for your comments

Thank you , i'm glad that you liked the big dragon's head. It took me some time to draw it, that is strange, but it wasn't easy to draw a head with three eyes on the same side.

Like the picture, love the title, the big dragon looks completely EPIC. All around, nice work.

Wikipedia just calls it the giant dragon, but IMDB uses Red Death. Which, description-wise, isn't all that accurate. But it does sound good. Vikings strike me as the kind of people who sacrifice accuracy for the sake of a name sounding good. ^^

Thank you for your comments , i really apreciate them. About the name of that dragon... if you see the OST, the 25th song (wich corresponds with this scene) is called "battling the green death". I'm not sure if its a nickname for that dragon, or it's actual name, but nobody knows how to name it .
