Hi there, Im having trouble with opening the file because whenever I download it, It always comes out as a .bs file. I tried following the video but I dont know if the process is simular on Mac computers than on windows? Is there any way to do it on Mac computers?

Hii! Are you using Firealpaca or Medibang? I've noticed that for some reason the very same brush settings make the brush look different depending on which program you use. If I remember right I made the example settings in Firealpaca, so the brushes might look different for Medibang users.

Another reason might be an update that changed the brush setting thingies. For example a pencil brush I always used broke after some random update and no longer looks the same.

Β
I installed Firealpaca to check if the brush is outdated. I made few tests with the brush and it seems I just got lucky when I made the example pic. (all of these are made with the same brush with the exact same settings). The closest I got to the example pic was the stroke on the bottom right which is just a very small circle. Also the "Brush Preview" window and "Edit Brush" window show wildly different brush previews apparently.

So I don't think the brush is broken, the code just generates wildly different strokes every single time you use it ^^" I think I just made a bad showcase pic for the brush, my bad. :'DDD But I hope you enjoy the brush tho

check that all the settings are similiar and you have similiar colors, if you have the multicolor setting on it will randomly pick the strands which have the alternate color

i guess a reason they might not be doing how it shows is because our brush preview isn't the same??

the waves generate randomly, their color is random and their wave length alternation speed is random. They can be changed with the settings but you can never get exactly the same results when the setting "length alternation" (how different the wavelengths are from each other) is over 0 and "use 2 colors" (does what it says) is on. If you turn those off then you may get somewhat similar brush outlook each time when it's used. The brush is meant to be pretty random. If you're trying to get similar to the other preview part of the brush in the image, i'dΒ suggest trying to make the "lengthΒ alternation" lower.

also sry for autocorrect

+ in the image it's just a circle and some kind of a flower-like shape in the middle of the circle (you should ask LakanaKana )

it's one brush with multiple different settings (which are displayed on the preview image)

some people say it's because of adblocks. try disabling it and then downloading it. for me and many others it seems to work (based on download stats)
