Next 2 spreads.
The brushes are almost entirely from ~concept-on-mac
Aside from a few default photoshop brushes.

Drawing this comic made me really fast at speedpainting forests.
I wouldn't really say good though.

The fairy's name is "Colours", hence the name. She was originally nekkid, but because (even though we always have life drawing) I didn't really feel comfortable projecting almost 16 pages of nekkid fairy in front of the class, I gave her a green dress.

It was a lot harder to portray emotion without any facial expressions, so everything had to be done through body language, and yet sometimes the wrong emotion is portrayed. In any case, none of the characters in the whole story really has many facial expressions. Colours is wearing a mask, Filit's wearing goggles and has a scarf that covers his face, and Sober (the most expressive one, it seems) is a cat.

It DOES have text in real life. I printed a few copies as self-promo a few months ago when I went down to Seattle for a convention. Got plenty of business cards too, but no actual business. I still have a few copies lying around, I can mail you one if you want.

Ah, gasmasks. It's interesting to use them...
Nice image of the frail fairy with the mask... It gives a wonderful contrast - has a sort of beauty you can't find anywhere.

Wow, this is just... amazing, Nuu *____* Really really love the earthy tones (as well as those putrid purples <4). A few of these panels come off as able to be a stand alone image-- particularly the establishing shot. Really love that one and it makes me think of an illustration I'd see in a book-- but it's not detracting, oh nooo. Really interesting color style, as well. Kinda shallow and dreamlike. And man your paneling and layouts are just boss.

You're just stepping up liek whoa and I can only sit and be awestruck wuht
