I wish there were pictures of Shio-Chan growing up., though! Like the ones they showed during the scenes of the lsat episode. Maybe those on the right, and the ones you have in their places atm. The episode where ********** <--- Spoiler broke my hear, though... I was in a state of depresssion before I watched the next episode after. ^ - ^

You do understand that she and her mother did not in fact die right? Itβs almost like as Ushio died in his arms and then he fail asleep in the storm and awakened to the world where no one lived but that girl and the reboot. The one in the play Nagisa did in the theater club.
The girl who was all alone was Ushio in a different world and the robot was her father. She says goodbye father and he has a back flash of when he first meant Nagisa at school. He wishes in his hart that he had not meant her thinking if he had never meant her shed be alive still.
Nagisa walk down the round and he says nothing but then breaks down and yells out her name. She tells him she never whatβs him to think life would have been better if they had never meant. The words from the play repeat and saying "Let me take you to a place in the city where wishes come true".
He huge her and awakens to the very day his child Ushio was born only this time Nagisa doesn't die. He gives the newborn her first bath and Nagisa is awake and well. Nagisa says look out the window wow its pretty. He walks outside and sees what he thinks was snow. He finds it was lights rising to the sky. The story goes onto say a light protects people. Then it tells a story about what if a city had a mind and heart? It would do its best to make the people in it the happiest. What would make him happiest just happened to him. He awoke from a bad dream and finds his wife and child is alive.
Episode 23 and 24 go on to prove this more. Episode 23 is what happened the year before Tomoyo met Nagisa type of story but at the tail end you see Fuko in the future talking about someone she sees and wishes to meet by a tree.
Episode 24 is a story told by Tomoyo to his child Ushio. You hear her in the background. The whole episode is what happened over all in Clanned and Clanned After Story Recap but at the end you her Tomoyo say βUshio? Did you fall asleep?β. He goes onto say he had a bad dream or memory where is wife died that felt real. He says itβs a story I have never told them. He goes onto say Ushio died in that memory and it felt real. He awakens under a tree in the future in the real world with his child age 5 years old and a recovered Fuko sleeping next to her. Then you her Nagisa in the background by voice yell out βCome on Ushio, Nagisa, and Daddyβ calling her husband daddy like partner of young children often happens to. Ushio gets up and run towards Nagisa saying mommy.
Basically the city and the play where magical and his bad life was magically changed like the bad life was only a dream. So both Nagisa and her child Ushio did not die ^ ^
