Honestly, it made me cry. Darn, it is such a beautiful anime. Looking at this picture, I hear the opening song repeating in my head. "Wir sind die jeager." It reminds me of the beautiful atmosphere that it has, the beauty of the Germany, German language, it reminds me of the hard work that the fighters put into their battle, the dedication to the mankind and the sweet taste of the victory, the sorrow towards the deceased soldiers, and the pride that they carry as fighters. They're not the food, they are the hunters. I am glad that this world has something as beautiful as this anime. Sure, it is just an anime, but even the simplest things can remind us about the beauty of fiction. Something that is so familiar, and yet, very different. Something so surreal, and yet, familiar. I am glad that I stumbled upon this. I am glad that I got reminded that even the simplest things are beautiful.
