Description this is a tattoo commission for someone who wanted a buddhist theme. they already had the characters tattooed on their arm.

the characters mean "believe in truth" or "believe in reality" i tried to give it some meaning behind it... for example the red is the color of the root chakra, which stands for "i am," asserting yourself as part of reality. the lotus and the eight-pointed star in the background are symbolic of the crown chakra, which stands for "i understand" and promotes thought. i felt that it kinda went with the "believe" part of the characters.

the face is just from a buddhist statue and the beads are a rosary. done in ps.

I like this a lot. Question though. What are the candles for?
