I've had a few rats they're pretty cool, till they bite you, those little fuckers hurt. But I want a ferret, they're so -y and fun to play with.

Oh yes birds. DUH Little birds like the ones you keep in cages don't do it for me but I like birds of pray. Those are cool. And then birds in general are cool. I just don't see the appeal of having a bird all locked in a cage most of the time so that it can't fly. That almost seems cruel to me. but eh but I've just known people who've had birds.

but i have my birds in a aviary so they're not all cramped up in a smaller cage... plus they wouldn't be able to survive over here in the wild, especially my parrot

Yeah. Plus they can be trained and that's just awesome. It'd be bad ass to have a falcon that listens to you.
ah I see that's cool and yeah they are domesticated so they wouldn't survive. I guess having a parrot would be cool They tend to have more personality that the other birds I've seen and interacted with.

So you take baby birds from the wild often? That's not very nice. How would you like it if someone took you away from your mom when you were little? Or if you had a child and someone took them away?

What about the other birds in your area? And why don't you want to have kids? I'm pretty undecided about it myself. I kinda don't want to either since I don't like kids anyways and I kinda want a less than family friendly career.

I have house sparrows/finches, mourning doves, rock doves (pigeons) crows, ravens, red-tailed hawks, bushtits, mockingbirds, anna's hummingbirds, american goldfinches, western scrubjays, american kestrels, black phoebes, western kingbirds, and ummm it also depends on the type of environment and season.
i don't like kids, too much responsibility, and i just can't see my self having them >_>
