This is my entry for JurgenDoe's contest
[link] It is talented and beautiful actress Kate Beckinsale.
The scan completely killed the drawing, some parts look darker, some lighter and the contrast sharper than in reality. I really need to get a new scanner as this is getting worse by every scan....
Anyway, drawing Kate was a lot of fun, she has an incredibly symmetric face, which makes it interesting to capture her expression. Also the hair was killer, but quite a lot of fun.
Let me know what you think about it, the only thing I can't change is the contrast (scanner....)

Used cotton tissues, q-tips, 6H - 9B pencils, sharpened eraser
Took me about 35 hours plus the 2 or 3 hour fight with my scanner....
