And NOW I'm caught up with all my stuff! And will remain so for about a DAY >_<

Oh well, I couldn't be happier with what I have here. AT LAST, vindication for my Torino 2006 , which, god, that's like one of my most personally disliked illustrations I have. Just NOTHING looks right with that, even down that weeb-ass school uniform design on her costume. So, I decided this time I'd do a figure skater executing that same move, but drawn WELL, and with 12 more years of experience that I SURE HELL HOPE shows! ^_^

I could've actually put it up yesterday, but I was so hellbent on adding an extra person, and I got that one all the way to the flat color stage, but it just crowded my poster too much. It looked perfect just as I had it.

My skater is so beautifully framed here, and I have that sweet, retro design for the background. I think I based it off Montreal 1976's design or something like that (Moscow 1980, I looked it up), or maybe I just ripped off the Atari logo, either way, it looks old-school Olympics-ee.

I especially did that because... man, the PyeongChang 2018 logo SUCKED! So I decided early on to do a really throwback style for the poster. And once I had all that finished, and my skater framed in there with it, because she was already done, I was just so in love with how it looked that against my better judgment I kept going with my original plan, but it just couldn't frame right.

Which is GOOD! That means I'm maturing as an artist when composition is more important to me than showing a cute ass. But I still have a half-finished snowboarder girl that I can re-purpose later, so it's a cute ass you won't be denied, if it matters THAT much to you. ^_^
