So this is a staple of old pinup art-- seeing through the perspective of a an old keyhole like this. Implying voyeurism, basically, but that's a real testament to how much the cute and playful vibe pinup art has, because it doesn't seem creepy like it would today! ^_^

Really, by going with the vintage keyhole like that, it made a lot of other decisions for me, basically that this would be a vintage setting, so I gave her more vintage, classical pinup lingerie as well. That took a few tries to get something I liked. I referenced this pose from a pinup girl wearing a sheer robe-- I tried that, but meh. And then the bottoms took a few tries to get right, trying to make it look RETRO and not, just, like, ugly and frumpy-- it wasn't until I added the stockings that I knew it would work for me. That made it clear that this is supposed to be vintage look.

So, one of those ones where I really had to get pretty far into the process to make sure it would work.
