I think the idea behind this one is pretty self-explanatory. I always love being warm and cozy indoors and watching heavy snow come down. And we get lake effect snow here like a motherfucker, so there's plenty of chances each year to see that.

And we're into November now, this is usually when our first bit of snow comes. . . and everyone bitches and moans about it and goes into a panic. This is Michigan, but for some reason perfectly seasonable late year weather is shocking to the citizens, even those who've lived here all their lives. It's like six months ago they all thought "Well, it's spring now-- the snow is done FOREVER!"

I was gonna have her holding a big cup of coffee or hot chocolate, and I've been wanting to do that for age, but I just couldn't get it to look right. Which is a bit of a loss because for some reason that makes it all work and gives it context. Like she's getting cozy and relaxing and dressed comfortably. Now I just have a chick with no pants on. Which is all good fun too, but it just seems a little gratuitous now. ^_^

But I really like it. I created a knit pattern on my own to give the sweater and socks a yarn texture. I had to tool around and make some costume shapes to make the argyle pattern as well. And the outdoor background is just a photo I took outside my own back door. It had just what I was looking for, and I was out for a walk Sunday morning and it was CRAZY foggy, which gave me the exact misty, overcast look I wanted, so I jumped on that chance to get my perfect background.

I had fun making this one. A nice simple, cute, quick one so I could get at least one more in before it's time to start focusing on stuff for the holidays.
