DS3 had a depressive ending, all that work and they dont make it out. (I didnt play the DLC only the original game.)
For some reason i think its for the best to not touch Dead Space anymore, its a fucking great game but the longer it goes the higher the chances for a massive screw up, like Mass Effect.

I liked how they killed Issac off but... (Dead Space 3 DLC SPOILER ALERT!) In the DLC he is still alive. The DLC is pretty good, kinda more what I wanted the 3rd game to actually be, but goddamn the ending of the DLC ruins it pretty hard for me when we find out there are multiple necromoons... ALL HEADED TOWARDS EARTH! My favorite part about DS1 was that you were just a normal engineer, not some super soldier, chosen one type dude and it wasn't a all of humanity is in danger, massive scale war game. They're doing all the epic shit I don't get to into. Oh well.

I totally agree with the protagonist not being some raging hulk with uber weapons from the beginning, it would just look like another Crysis or Halo game, the developers played their cards right and gave us an engineer!
REALLY?! Thats the real ending to DS3? Massive scale invasion? Oh come the fuck on....thats not what i wanted....i wanted a good ending not a fucking war game....ugh i can feel it right now....Dead Space 4--Now with online coop, play with millions of people online and suffer in the screams of 8 year olds on how the other players are hacking.
Speaking of DS3 i loved the game but upgrading system ruined it for me, i loved the power nodes a lot more than the required items to make this shit, fucking nightmare looking for the items you need and even worse when you are in a need of ammo but WAIT! You clearly nee more scrap metal and biogel NO I FUCKING DONT I NEED AMMO OH GOD THEY ARE COMING! Isded.

haha! I did like the gun system to be honest, I had a lot of fun with it building crazy shit, but the whole time I wished the original power node system had been incorporated with it. I didnt like the universal ammo idea either, or collecting materials. I'd rather just find the parts. Also first I played it alone, it wasn't very exciting just kinda the same old one bad situation into another, being everyone's bitch doingΒ errands. Then I played coop with my little bro and was bored out of my mind. I think coop could be cool, maybe even a multiplayer, but I doubt they'll be the first to do it correctly now that they've gone so commercial.Β DS4 is undoubtedly happening but I'm not putting any bets on it being better than DS1 and 2.

Of all the DS games, i would say 2 was the best one, it had some of the goriest death scenes (the one with the massive spike through the mouth was one of the worst, dont get me started on the eye.) DS1 would be next on my list but it had some of the most annoying levels like the one with the gas necromorphs and that Leviathan boss....i hated that one.
