Nyah~
Much has changed since I wrote Masuta's entry~
I originally envisioned Masuta as a mischievous boy. Black hair, red or green eyes, a grin, and black clothes.
I brainstormed for a while, being uncomfortable with how it looked. Eventually I changed the gender in favour of the "creation=maternity=female". As a female she kept most aspects than as a male except she had grey clothes and a slightly more serious personality. I developed on other characters and eventually those developments lead to a far more serious Masuta. I also changed her colour from grey to white, for symbolism's sake.

So yeah. I just typed all of that with only one hand. And even though it is certainly easy, it is uncomfortable lol

Interesting you say "creation=maternity=female"
Because in some of my research, feminimity has been attributed to destruction in one case. Though it would take me a while to remember what mythological referance that was

The original design sounds good, but the result isn't bad either. Follows the original quite a bit, of course looking at her, 'she' could infact be either gender. Or maybe neither... something else maybe

So how come you typed all that with one hand?

Nyu~ Rather destruction was attributed to femininity, no? xD And I think I once...found such goddess in wikipedia >_>;; But I think she was pretty D: Or there was no picture or something /: BUUUUUHH....lol

I think there was a greek goddess that was like that. I'm not sure but it may have been the wife of Setesh (need to brush up on my egyptian mythology though). But that may have been because he was the god of the desert and was unable to have a child and so she never had one.

It may have been yin-yang. I think the dark side was meant to represent feminimity and destruction. Although feminimity doesn't actually always mean female though.

I was thinking Tiamat actually D: There's a shizzne more then D: But I think she has something to do with zeh Greeks? /:

Nyah lol wikipedia says in the Yin Yang subject: "Yin is usually characterized as slow, soft, insubstantial, diffuse, cold, wet, and tranquil. It is generally associated with the feminine, birth and generation(yay, yin supports me~ xD), and with the night. Yang, by contrast, is characterized as hard, fast, solid, dry, focused, hot, and aggressive. It is associated with masculinity and daytime."

oh ok. Might of been a different thing I referanced. As for Tiamat (she's actualy Babylonian and Sumerian). She was killed by her children (or those of her children she didn't kill when they turned on her). Her body was cut in two. Half became the sky/heavens and half became the earth.

But most Tiamat referances get mixed up with the Dungeons & Dragons version ¬_¬

She's been referanced as a Chaos God because she's a strong part of an origin myth. So I had done a fair bit of research into her as a student of chaos

Ahhh I still really love how you color <3 Especially the gradient kind of effect on the hair.
What program do you use, by the way? It reminds me of really smooth Chibi Paint (an oekaki applet) line art and coloring...

I like it, although I have some issues with the hands and the hair. For one, the hands look like they're swollen a bit, and the fingers look much too short for the hands. I also have an issue with the lighting of the hair. If you look from the top down, the lighting seems to start way too abruptly.

Either way, you put a lot of good work into this. Good job.

They're meant to be small >_> ...but seriously, swollen? .-.

Oh fantastic, I did 6 layers for it [link] /:

Yeah, the palms of the hands seem a little too wide, Which makes them seem puffy and swollen.
